Ice cream and pier walk

I finally feel like I’m getting a bit more solidly into the dissertation and gaining some headway with it. This is a relief considering I’ve spent most of the past week eating, sleeping or napping. The weekend brought a short walk and trip for ice cream with some dance friends who graduate this week.

It was a windy, warm but overcast day so there were some lovely cloud formations. We sat on the pier for a while chatting and watching the boats.

It’s a sad time at the moment saying goodbye to friends who are leaving and it’s slowly sinking in that the year is ending. I’m just trying to keep my head down and focus on the work.

If you’re going through hell… keep going.
